The unit offers a fair value for money but I did experience two major issues.
The screen is way too reflective at least for a convertible. A special cover foil fixed it to a certain extent.
Android Auto (which is IMO pretty useless anyways due to lack of support for most apps) loses the bluetooth connection constantly. I tested it with various mobile phones and could verify that it is not an issue related to the phone. It also sometimes has problems to find the mobile phone hotspot. So it seems to have a general connectivity issue. Also an installed OBD adapter does have issues to send data constantly.
The unit currently in use is connected via an external amp to the Mercedes BOSE speakers and the sound is ok but not stunning. Might very well be the ext. amp though. The next unit will be installed to an identical car but this time using the BOSE audio setup with an adapter for the optical signal transmission required by the OEM amp. I'm curious to see if this makes difference.
Shipping was very fast out of the CZ so no trouble with customs and no additional VAT on the price I paid.
