Aftermarket GPS Navigation Head Unit is specially designed to upgrade Benz S W221 CL W216 radio system. It has the same plug and harness as original radio, plug and play. This product only replaces the original LCD screen unit and retains the factory FM/CD unit, so the original Audi car computer/CD/FM/AM/Sirius/XM will still work as before.

Attention:
1. If your car has the AUX(External audio input) audio option, then you don't need the AMI-AUX cord.

Works fine in my Benz S W221 2006. The unit is smooth and the touch screen is fast . Don’t hesitate to ask the seller the guide for the installation, it’s easy you just need some classic tools such as screwdrivers and other little tools to remove the Audi head unit. I took the first model with 8 ram and 128 gb because i just need the car play and the Carplay functions. The only thing is the linking with the CarPlay is sometimes a little bit long. Great buy for those who want to put a ten years car up to date :)
Placed an order from the link of group ”W221 S-Class Mercedes-Benz Tech Forum ”, the most difficult portion of the install was getting the wiring stuffed away at the bottom in order to get the old unit shoved back in. I had a few questions for the seller about setup, and the seller was very helpful. Apple CarPlay runs via Bluetooth, and for best audio, running a cable through a headset jack adapter into the Mercedes aux port works best. The iPhone will prompt you when you get this set up, then run the music via headphone. It works, and requires a little experimenting after install.
